Mike's Ice Bucket Challenge

Mike here. Despite the critical view I have of these kinds of challenges, I thought I'd at least try and open up discussion and education about ALS. Skip to about five minutes in if you just want to see me uncomfortably cold and wet. Enjoy.

And remember; donate or discuss, or don't do at all.

Cold As Ice: The Corruption of Viral Charity Drives

The viral sensation 'Ice Bucket challenge' has raised almost $100 million for the ALS foundation, who work to support families affected by ALS, or Motor Neuron Disease, and find a cure. And that's good. It has raised awareness of the disease, which is also good. And every day, more and more people are using the opportunity to share stories of their experiences and get money into the hand of people who can help with this disease and others, which is excellent.

But then, there are always ways in which this kind of viral charity marketing can go sour. In the case of the Ice Bucket Challenge, some of this has gotten right up my piss pipes.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Six Inches Of Truth: Jary's Relationship Advice.

So, the Foul Entertainment lads have asked me to impart my knowledge about the fairer sex (birds) onto the blogosphere.

I was gonna write about my experiences, but then I thought it would be better if I took questions and used my vast, VAST experience to help people.

Let's Not Play: Bound By Flame

Hi again, Big Steve From England here, and it's time for me to not play another game.

If you're not familiar with what I'm doing, I'll tell you. It's simple, I'm reviewing video games.
The only difference is that I will review anything. Good or bad, old or new, real or fake, it doesn't matter. The only thing that does matter is that I can't have played the game before writing my review. Got that? Good, let's crack on shall we.

In this issue, I will be reviewing Spiders' Bound By Flame.

GISHWHES 2014

So GISHWHES 2014, the year of the Elopus. I'd like to say this year was less weird than the previous years, but there's now people out there with Pope Francis tattoos and a ton of leftover kale stuck to chairs. So pretty standard for GISHWHES. My experience sadly doesn't involve a Pope tattoo or kale, surprisingly. It does involve pressure washing a trifle, talking to John Barrowman and a lot of Stonehenge though.

Foul Fiction Episode Four: Whores and Custard

The long awaited fourth episode of Foul Fiction is here! We're sorry this took so long.

This one's an all Harry Potter special and contains the next chapter of Luna's Trip of Lust and probably one of the worst written, vomit inducing fictions we've ever read.

Enjoy right here, on the podcast page, or on our SoundCloud page.

GISHWHES

Beginning this weekend and lasting a week I am doing a little thing a few of you may have heard of called GISHWHES. GISHWHES stands for Greatest International Scavenger Hunt World Has Ever Seen and it is a week of madness. My plan is to blog my experiences about this week and give you an insight into the fun, and stress that is GISHWHES. But first I think you need an introduction to prepare you for its insanity.
